At Home Doc, a telemedicine startup providing online medical consultations, in-person home care services, health and wellness tips/videos, and prescription refill services, raised $1.9 million in Seed funding.
Elaj Group’s investment arm Tawasol Holdings led the investment round with participation from Qatar Development Bank (QDB) and other angel investors.
With new funds, the startup plans to accelerate its all-inclusive healthcare services, including home healthcare services, telemedicine, medication delivery, and at-home lab services in the MENA (Middle East and North Africa) & Gulf regions.
According to the company’s website, its telemedicine solutions focus on patients who can’t travel long distances for an in-person consultation and offer them an app to connect directly with their primary care provider. The mobile app allows patients to book online consultations with a care provider or request in-person home service visits and prescription refills.
