Envisionit Deep AI, an AI-guided medical imaging diagnosis platform, raised $1.65 million in funding from New GX Ventures, a joint venture between New GX Capital, RMB Ventures, and GIIG Africa.
With new funds, the startup plans to advance its medical imaging platform that helps healthcare professionals interpret chest X-rays and detect different pathologies, including tuberculosis, breast cancer and pneumonia, in a few minutes.
“We have this exciting goal to combine revolutionary technology like artificial intelligence with radiology and we want to transform the way radiologists look, interpret imaging and make diagnoses,” said Dr. Jaishree Naidoo, CEO of the company.

Prenuvo, a provider of advanced, radiation-free whole-body imaging solutions for early cancer detection, raised $70 million in Series A funding led by Felicis, with participation from existing investors.
EchoNous, a provider of an AI-assisted ultrasound tool that helps clinicians perform heart, lung, and abdominal assessments in minutes, raised $57 million in Series D funding led by Kennedy Lewis Investment Management.
