HealthStream, a provider of healthcare workforce management solutions, announced the acquisition of Electronic Education Documentation System (dba eeds), a provider of a web-based solution for continuing medical education providers and an online CE tracking system for healthcare professionals, for approximately $7 million in cash.
This is the third acquisition by HealthStream in the past 2 years. HealthStream previously acquired Rievent Technology in December 2021 and CloudCME in May 2022. With this latest acquisition, HealthStream expands its cloud-based continuing education management solutions for healthcare organizations.

WebMD, an online publisher of health and medical news and information, announced the acquisition of JIM.fr, an online destination for medical news, information, and education in France, for an undisclosed amount.
MedAdvisor, a developer of an app for medication and adherence, agreed to acquire GuildLink, a provider of digital healthcare solutions and medicines information, for A$9.14 million ($6.3 million).
