Ruth Health, a telehealth startup specializing in pregnancy and postpartum care, is reportedly shutting down its business operations.
Founded in 2020, Ruth Health was offering virtual maternal healthcare services such as pelvic floor training, lactation support, and C-section recovery.
Ruth Health has raised a total of $3.1 million in funding to date, with their most recent round being a $2.4 million seed investment led by Giant Ventures in April 2022.
Ruth Health faced obstacles in scaling its services within the complex maternity care landscape, Alison Greenberg, cofounder and CEO of Ruth Health, wrote in a LinkedIn post.
