Oura raises $75 million in strategic Series D funding from Dexcom

Oura, known for its Oura Ring, a smart ring used to track sleep and physical activity, raised $75 million in strategic Series D funding from Dexcom, a provider of advanced glucose biosensing systems designed to help users monitor and manage their glucose levels in real-time.

The Series D funding round will bring Oura’s valuation to more than $5 billion, according to the official press announcement.

Oura raised $100 million in a Series C round in 2021. A year later, the company announced it had reached a valuation of $2.55 billion.

Ōura CEO Tom Hale said in the official press announcement that 97% of Oura members “have expressed interest in understanding how the food they eat impacts their health.” In June, Ōura said it had sold more than 2.5 million rings and was valued at $2.55 billion.
