World Class Health raises $8 million seed funding

World Class Health, a provider of concierge health benefits for self-funded employers and their employees, raised $8 million in seed funding.

AlleyCorp and led the investment round with participation from LifeX, Joyance, Cooley & Co, City Light, Vivek Garipalli (founder of Clover Health), and Munjal Shah )co-founder and CEO of HippocraticAI.com).

In the official press announcement, Sid Nambiar, Founder and CEO of World Class Health, stated: “Our vision is to make the world’s best doctors accessible to employees at the world’s best companies as a Global Concierge Health Benefit.”

“We make it simple and easy for employees to navigate to the best provider for them and their families, at a location of their choice with the largest global network. We want World Class Health to be such good value with regard to clinical quality, employee NPS and prices, that it would be irresponsible for employers not to offer this benefit,” added Sid Nambiar.

With fresh funds, World Class Health plans to accelerate the expansion of its services. The startup wants to make it easy for employees of large companies (and their families) to access the best doctors and hospitals around the world.

World Class Health is also expanding its network of trusted hospitals and doctors so that employees can get top-quality care, like surgeries or treatments, at lower costs than usual.

Based in New York City, World Class Health serves self-funded employers and provides access to a global network of the top 1% of providers. The network spans North America, Latin America, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, India and Asia. It includes access to specialties like musculoskeletal, cancer, fertility, and others. The prices for its healthcare services are often as affordable as what the government program Medicare pays—or even less.
